Week 18 2025 — Leadership styles, Linear hashing, Linux TPM and UKI boot

This week, I’ve been diving into the paper Optimal Bounds for Open Addressing Without Reordering — laying the groundwork for a post on funnel hashing basics.

I’m also exploring ideas around enabling vs constraining leadership — where structure supports, not stifles.

On the hardware side, I’m setting up full TPM-backed disk encryption on a ThinkPad T480 with systemd-boot and a UKI setup.
